We act for humanity. The opportunityIn this position you will make contact with newly arrived and culturally and linguistically diverse people and assist with their needs. You will identify issues affecting the health of newly arrived communities and respond by liaising with appropriate services and providing information sessions within the community to assist new arrivals to be able to better access the health system.What you will bring Chin and English language skills An understanding of issues affecting people impacted by migrationExperience in working with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgroundsExperience in coordinating, managing, training and supporting volunteersExcellent general office administration and records management skillsSound verbal and written communication skillsHighly developed organisational and time management skillsKnowledge of Microsoft Office tools, such as outlook, word and excelWorking with vulnerable people checkDrivers licence Benefits that act for you, while you act for humanityFinancial wellbeing: In addition to your pay, you can take advantage of salary packaging that could provide you with a great way to reduce the amount of tax you pay.
