Salary: $78,564 - $111,391 per annum pro rata + 11% super + annual leave loading (dependant on qualifications and experience).
Time Fraction: Part time, 0.5 EFT
Location: Chadstone, Glen Waverley and Moorabbin campuses.
WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.

Holmesglen's Learning Skills Centre provides a progressive, innovative and supportive teaching environment. The department is presently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated teacher to deliver effective literacy and/or numeracy support to students across various courses within the institute.
ABOUT YOU
- Demonstrated understanding of contemporary teaching and learning methodologies, including literacy skills and/or numeracy concepts.
- Understanding of skills required to promote student autonomy and independent learning strategies.
- Appropriate industry qualification
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116); or
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) including the units TAELLN411 & TAEASS502 or equivalent units.
- Relevant industry experience

The Learning Skills Centre is dedicated to supporting learners with their studies and focus on improving core skills such as learning, reading, writing, numeracy and speaking skills. The teaching staff consider the learner’s existing skills and needs when assisting with support options and promote independent adult learning and self-management.
