Hands On People an Official NDIS Provider supporting Territorians living with disability and assisting them to navigate the NDIS(The National Disability Insurance Scheme) and get support faster.
Our team provides support services and expert advice to help transition our participants to independent living.
Our services include Accommodation Services, Community Nursing, NDIS Support Coordination, NDIS Plan Management, Social and Community Participation, Veteran’s Home Care and more.
Our primary services operate out of our two main office locations - Darwin & Alice Springs.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- You will assist with the undertaking of supporting participants with their appointments and other community participation.
- Ensure you are abreast with behaviour observation and support required for the participant’s support
- Maintaining a record of participant progress
- Communicate concerns or advise to the appropriate parties including stakeholders where necessary.
- Assessing participants to determine continuing needs.
- Assistance in building participant self-image and self-confidence
- Manual Handling and hoisting of participants.
- Complete incident reports and ensure the right channels are advised with the necessary information
- Undertake the completion of shift notes and proper documentation in line with Hands On People policy and procedures.
Required Knowledge, Experience and skills
- Certificate III/IV in Disability or Individual Support.
- Current NT unrestricted driver’s license
- Current First Aid Certificate and CPR
- Valid OCHRE card.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and resilience skills
- Adaptability in being able to deliver person-centred services in line with participant goals and needs
