We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Aged Care Support Workers to join our team based in Georgetown . As an Aged Care Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing care and support to our clients to help them remain in their homes.
About the Role:
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of older clients in the Georgetown community in the North East TAS region
- Permanent part-time employment with guaranteed 20 hours/FN depending on your availability
- Experience variety by visiting clients in their homes within the Georgetown area covering surrounding areas
- Preferred availability from Monday to Friday
- Benefit from a base hourly rate of $29.85 (plus superannuation, Km's reimbursement, salary packaging)

Who We’re Looking for :
We are seeking compassionate, empathetic, and dedicated individuals who have a genuine passion for helping others with a key focus to provide high-quality person-centred care across all facets of support services along such as Domestic Assistance, cleaning, personal care, showering, grooming, dressing, feeding, maintaining hygiene and social support.
To do so you will need to have the following:
- Understanding of and a passion for working with the elderly
- Minimum of Cert III Individual Support (or equivalent)
- Medication assist module is desirable
- Current drivers licence
- A registered, reliable, and comprehensively insured motor vehicle
- Confidence in using different forms of technology such as a smart phone or tablet
- A current First Aid and CPR Certificate or willing to obtain
- A current National Police Check or willingness to obtain
- Flexible approach to your availability and open to being rostered within work hours of 7.00 am - 7.00 pm, Monday to Friday
