This role is all about making a difference and enhancing the lives of our aged care clients. To help them remain independent in their own home and retaining positive connections with their local community.
With a focus on helping our clients remain in their own home, your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Personal care – showering, toileting and grooming both male and female clients
- Domestic Assistance - housekeeping, cleaning, vacuuming, changing bed linen etc
- Meal preparation and serving
- Medication prompting and assistance
- Providing Transport – appointments, shopping and social outings
- Respite – being with clients to give Carers a break
- Social support – assisting clients to access community
- Using a smart phone and computer, as required, to communicate with clients and staff in a friendly and professional manner
Key to the success of this role is developing a professional and quality relationship with your client and their family.

To be successful in this position you will need:
- A Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or equivalent
- Experience working remotely with a high degree of autonomy and drive
- A current driver’s licence and own a registered and insured vehicle
- Evidence of a current COVID-19 vaccination Certificate
- Experience in the development of knowledge and implementation of the Aged Care Standards.
- Demonstrated experience Provide Personal Care and Domestic Assistance services for Clients in their homes.
- Other reasonable duties as requested by the Service Coordinator, Aged Care Services
- Valid Employee Working with Children Check.
- National Criminal History Check (obtained in the last 6 months) with no disclosable outcomes
- You are passionate about supporting others and energised by interacting and engaging with people
- Willingness to learn and a heart for the elderly+
· Friendly and professional communicator
· Basic computer and smartphone working knowledge
