About the role
Avivo are looking for Disability & Mental Health Support Workers to assist customers in their day to day life based in the Bakers Hills, Wundowie & Surrounding Areas. This role works across disability, and mental health sectors, engaging in a range of care needs to support individuals who wish to remain living in their home and connected to their community.
Support Worker Duties:
- Domestic assistance
- Daily support with personal care
- Administer medication
- Provider Mental Health support
- Social support including assistance with trips in and around the community
- Regular communication and engagement with your local team
On the job training and buddy shifts are provided to the successful candidates.
Skills, experience and checks:
- Previous experience in providing support (desirable)
- Excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude to help ensure our customers receive flexible and individualised support
- Availability to attend mandatory and paid training during the week
- NDIS Worker Screening check or willingness to obtain one
- Working with Children check or willingness to obtain one
- Available weekly hours to work a range of shifts between 8:00am - 5pm

- A valid driver's licence and a reliable vehicle (essential)
- Making an appointment to this position is subject to a satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening Check
