The Cerebral Palsy Support Network (CPSN) is a membership-based organisation that represents individuals with Cerebral Palsy (and like conditions) and their families.

Current opportunitiesWe are looking for a compassionate and motivated person to work with our fantastic client in Patterson Lakes, Melbourne VIC.
Shifts: Fridays 5pm to 10pm and Sundays from 9am to 1pm with potential for increase in hours.
About youIf you are at least25 years old, like dogs, cats, football, art, music and have at least 3 years' solid experiencein the disability sector supporting complex care clients, we would like to hear from you.
Students of Nursing or Allied Health, as well as people with a health background are also encouraged to apply.
You will be taking direction from and supporting the existing nursing team.
When you are not providing support to the nursing team you may be asked to help with household duties or take our client on an outing.
What skills and qualifications do you need?- The ability to fully support our client utilising your mobility equipment and transfer experience
- Experience with PEG feeding
- Experience with non-verbal communication strategies
- Understanding of nut allergies
- Full driver's license
- A NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
- Current First Aid certificate
- Current CPR certificate
- 2 references from prior and/or current employers
- WWCC (Working with Children Check)
- Certificate III or IV in Disability Support desired but not essential
If successful, you will complete online training and hands-on training to ensure you will be able to provide one on one support to our client.
You will be taking direction from and supporting the existing nursing team in the client's home.
