Hours: Casual
Morning: 8am - 4pm
Evening: 4pm - 10pm/12am
Active Night: 10pm/12am - 9am

About the Role:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated female-identified Support Workers to join our team, offering specialized care to participants with a range of needs including early onset dementia, behaviours of concern, and mobility assistance. This role involves supporting female participants with all aspects of daily living, health management tasks, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive support with all transfers, Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), meal preparation, and personal care for a participant with significant support needs.
- Administer medication, assist with transportation to and from work, and support another participant in maintaining personal hygiene, completing daily tasks, and engaging in routine-based activities.
- Utilize communication skills to foster positive relationships and encourage independence among participants.
- Complete cleaning tasks and meal preparation.
- Ensure safety and well-being through competent medication management and use of mobility aids like the Sara Steady.
Requirements:
- Female-identified, in response to the specific requirements of our participants and their families.
- Proven experience with behaviours of concern, Dementia Care, and medication management.
- Proficiency in using mobility aids such as a Sara Steady.
- Exceptional communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Access to a vehicle with room for a wheelchair, for participant transport.
Current First Aid Certification with CPR, NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance. - Ability to complete household tasks and prepare meals.
