Support Worker (Ndis Provider)

Amica Community Services is a dedicated NDIS (NationalDisability Insurance Scheme) provider, committed to offering comprehensivesupport services to individuals with disabilities. We are currently looking forcompassionate and skilled Support Workers to join our team and provideessential support to our clients.

Job Description:

As a Support Worker at Amica Community Services, you willplay a crucial role in improving the lives of individuals with disabilities.Your core responsibilities will include:

•       Offering communication support, includingAuslan, for clients with communication needs.
•          Assisting clients with personal care andday-to-day activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
•          Collaborating closely with our team to deliverperson-cantered care and support.
•          Maintaining accurate records and documentationof client interactions.

To excel in this role, you should have the followingqualifications and skills:

Education and Qualifications:

Relevant qualification documents in fields such as Nursing,Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability Support, or Community Service.

Skills and Competencies:

•          Strong communication skills in English.
•          Empathy, patience, and dedication to providingindividualized support.
•          Previous experience in support work or relevanttraining is a plus.

Job Requirements:

Compliance:

All employees working with NDIS providers must undergorelevant background checks, including a Working with Children Check and a NationalPolice Check.
