About the Role:
An exciting opportunity is open for passionate Overnight Support Workers to have steady and reliable work providing care for our clients. You will be willing to travel South Region - Caringbah, Miranda, Gymea, Cronulla and nearby suburbs as required. In return, we can offer Monday to Friday shifts available from 6:00PM - 8:00PM start time for 12 hours. You will be willing to work a mix of Active and Inactive overnight shifts.
Skills and Attributes:
- Provide care including assistance with dinner preparation, personal hygiene, and mobility transfers to bed always ensuring the client's safety and comfort.
- Regularly observe and monitor the client and report any concerns or significant changes with the client to Regal Care Team/ Nurse Manager.
- Provide personal care, social support, companionship, and domestic assistance around the home.
- Experience in providing care within the Aged Care, Disability or Veteran sectors.
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care or Disability, Nursing Students who have completed their first-year placement preferred (not essential)
- Current CPR & Manual Handling certification or willingness to obtain.
- Friendly and bright with professional communication skills.
