About the role:
Epiphany Care is seeking highly enthusiastic and experienced Disability Support Workersto assist with supporting participants. The aim is to ensure that our recipients can participate meaningfully in their family and community life.
What we need from you. `
Available for shifts between 8 am to 6 pm during most days of the week.
A strong desire to provide, quality client service and the ability to make that connection so that you are welcomed into their home.
Flexibility and ability to be adaptive.
Ability to provide high-quality support to our clients with things like personal care, community access, cleaning, meal preparation etc
Current police check or willingness to undertake one and NDIS screener check clearance.
Completed or currently undergoing a Certificate III, IV, Diploma in Disabilities, Youth work, Community Services, Psychology, Social Work and/or other relevant studies or the willingness to undertake studies if you do not have any qualification.
Previous experience working with people living with a disability, mental health concerns, or other relevant experience.
Current first-aid (with 12 months to run) and CPR qualifications (with 6 months to run) or willingness to complete before employment.
Competent in using computers and other mobile apps.
Current driver's vehicle license and own transport vehicle with insurance.
