About Us:
1300SMILES Mackay operates as a bustling 10-chair practice within the esteemed Abano Healthcare family. With 5 chairs currently active and expansion plans on the horizon, we are situated in the heart of the community, serving a diverse clientele with quality dental care. Our practice is supported by a well-established team of approximately 25 dedicated professionals, including Dental Assistants, Receptionists, and Clinicians. Our work environment is innovative and supportive, fostering both professional and personal growth.
Role Overview: As the Practice Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our practice, ensuring seamless service delivery and exemplary patient care. This role demands a strong-minded leader who is quick to adapt and capable of hitting the ground running. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain and enhance the efficiency of our services, manage staff, and uphold the high standards of the Abano Healthcare brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the practice's operations, including staff management, scheduling, compliance, and administration.
- Foster a positive, engaging work environment that maintains high staff morale and excellent patient care.
- Coordinate with senior management to implement practice goals, new policies, and expansion initiatives.
- Manage financial activities with precision, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Ensure a smooth handover and transition with the outgoing Practice Manager, who will provide comprehensive training and support.
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in management, preferably in healthcare or related fields.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of nurturing strong relationships with both staff and patients.
- Agile and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in dental practice management is highly desirable but not essential.
