In this role, you'll:
- Act as a senior site representative for Transport for NSW on a transformational infrastructure project in the Penrith region
- Make your impact on a key connector project joining Western Sydney Employment Area and Western Sydney Aerotropolis.
- Work with some cutting-edge technology Monitoring and overseeing Mamre Road Upgrade Stage 1 including, changes to six intersections, four lane divided road with a wide central median, installing permanent noise walls, two bridge size culverts, installation of a new shared path and other valued advancements for the people of NSW.
- Monitor and oversee civil construction works such as earthworks, roads, pavements/ asphalt & structures conducted by Transport for NSW and our valued industry partners.
- Attend daily pre-starts, report on project progress and complete quality / safety / environmental surveillance.
- Collaborate with your delivery partners, industry partners and additional internal stakeholders across engineering, environmental, technical, safety & quality to ensure the successful delivery of project outcomes.
- Oversee and mentor other Transport for NSW Surveillance Officers.
About you
- Extensive experience working in either construction surveillance or as a Civil Construction / Structures Supervisor.
- Previous experience working on major arterial and motorway projects, with in-depth knowledge of Transport for NSW's QA specifications
- The ability to lead and mentor others leaning on your extensive road building experience.
This role offers a 38-hour week, with project dependant overtime and occasional night works
Fixed term full-time opportunity until June 2029.
