About the Opportunity

To help us achieve this we are seeking an experienced Senior Development Surveillance Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking civil construction inspections related to developer provided assets, issuing certificates of completion, reporting on team results, issuing Section 138 roads act approvals and associated activities.
To succeed in this role, you will have qualifications in civil construction or a related field. As well as proven experience working in civil construction or supervision of works. Strong working knowledge of the relevant legislation and specification as well as proven stakeholder engagement and excellent communication skills - both verbal and written is essential.
On a typical day this role will include:
- Supervising civil construction works for critical stage inspections of works including road pavement, concrete, stormwater, water & sewer infrastructure, environmental works.
- Assessment of Section 138 Roads Act approvals and working closely with the Development Engineers on matters involving Subdivision Works Certificates.
- Mentoring other staff on matters related to Civil Construction and Supervision.
- Providing up to date reports to the Development Engineering Coordinator regarding inspection and construction matters.
- Responding to general enquiries regarding civil works under construction.
Remuneration and Benefits
Employment Type: Full time, Permanent 35 hours per week
Salary (exclusive of super): In the range of $91,569.24 to $103,016.70 depending on skills and experience
This role also qualifies for a Vehicle allowance or Leaseback option
