What you need
- Appropriate Tertiary qualifications (TAFE or University) in Surveying and extensive relevant working experience in survey project management
- Well-developed knowledge and understanding of various software packages including 12D and Autodesk products
- Leadership skills including the ability to supervise, develop and motivate staff in a commercial environment
- A valid NSW Drivers license and willingness to travel within NSW which will include overnight stays
About the role
This role sits in the NSW Public Works Survey, Spatial and Property unit and will assist in providing survey services tailored to NSW government asset and infrastructure projects.
Reporting directly to the Principal Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the survey operations and delivery requirements of the NSW Public Works Survey team. This includes managing a team of surveyors to ensure timely completion of surveys while maintaining high-quality standards.
Additionally, you will collaborate with internal NSWPW teams, external clients and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with project requirements.
