Santos has a regional operating model with a strong local focus. The Company’s operating structure comprises three regional business units focused on enabling and executing corporate strategy. Two divisions – Santos Energy Solutions and Santos Upstream Gas and Liquids – are accountable for global portfolio management and strategy. 

Based at our Adelaide Office, the Sustainability Adviser will Support the development and project management of Santos’ ESG reporting including Sustainability

Key accountabilities include:  

• Support the external ESG reporting suite, including the development of a clear and cohesive narrative across ESG reporting and sustainability pillars plus project management, verification, and assurance processes.

• Support the development and maintenance of Santos’ annual ESG master data, including verification and assurance. 

• External ESG reporting – Working with the business to develop a clear and cohesive narrative. Supporting the delivery of Santos’ annual ESG reporting

• ESG strategy implementation and performance management – Support the development of clear targets, develop appropriate systems and processes, oversee regular sustainability performance reporting

• Have an understanding relevant sustainability frameworks and reporting

• Project management/experience driving cross-organisational outcomes

• Have experience/interest in data management, analysis and uplift

• Demonstrate strong communication skills and be highly competent in word, powerpoint 

• Have a high level of attention to detail

Ideally, you will be degree qualified in sustainability, environmental engineering, social science/ policy, accounting.
