You will play a pivotal role in enhancing our risk maturity and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.In this role, you'll be:
- Identifying, documenting, and testing critical controls to determine effectiveness, collaborating with stakeholders to address control deficiencies
- Facilitate and perform bi-annual risk reviews and business impact analysis.
- Utilising the Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) System as a centralised tool for effective control management
- Running exercises, workshops and meetings across the business as required relating to risk management
- Preparing and delivering comprehensive assurance reports based on assessments and findings
- Proven risk management experience within a highly regulated industry
- Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies, control frameworks, and compliance standards
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to recommend improvements
- Experience designing and successfully implementing new strategies that deliver cost savings, service improvement and/or higher team performance.
