With approximately 15,000 employees spread across our offices, processing plants and feedlots, JBS Australia exports to more than 50 countries around the world.About the RoleThe JBS Northern Engineering Team is currently recruiting a Sustainability Engineer to join the business. Reporting to the Divisional Engineer - Northern, the Sustainability Engineer will take a proactive role in working with the corporate and site environmental teams and engineers to establish measures and identify best practices by which sustainability can be compared across sites to develop and implement projects to achieve sustainability targets.The Sustainability Engineer will also manage nominated projects including initiation, design and cost estimation, preparation of submissions for approval, project implementation, cost monitoring and control, commissioning, documentation, final handover and auditing of achieved savings and gains.This role has the responsibility to develop the Business Unit Roadmap of portfolio projects containing detailed scopes, cost estimations and benefit analysis that can be audited at the time of implementation.
