About the role:
Reporting to the Business Unit Sales Manager, you will be responsible for providing strategic internal and external advice, communications, and support to equip staff and management to promote Cleanaway's commitment to all aspects of Safety and Sustainability.
Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive sustainability strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Identify key sustainability initiatives to enhance environmental and social impact.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to foster a culture of sustainability.
• Build strong relationships with external industry bodies.
• Drive internal communications campaigns and projects as required.
• Develop and deliver presentations, and workshops in line with key clients, municipal councils, and government bodies on sustainable practices.

About you:

• Tertiary qualified in Sustainability, Environmental Science, or other relevant fields.
• Proven experience in sustainability management or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and industry best practices.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to drive change.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence positive change.
