Job DescriptionAs our
Sustainability Reporting Analyst you’ll be responsible for validating, analysing and producing report-ready data as part of our sustainability and climate-related disclosure requirements.Here you'll partner with operational, finance, risk and technology teams to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and audit-readiness of our environmental data, particularly regarding scope 1 and scope 2 emissions, primarily driven through electricity, water, and waste usage.This position also plays an important role by proactively seeking continuous improvements in our data management and reporting, as well as implementing strategic initiatives with our sustainability team to improve our environmental impact and data transparency.

Sustainability Reporting Analyst to join our newly formed team dedicated to enhancing NEXTDC's sustainability and climate-related disclosures. This position will focus on three main areas:
- Data Capture and Management
- Data Quality and Assurance
- Continuous Improvement
QualificationsStrong stakeholder management skills
- The ability to convey data insights and reports to stakeholders at various levels of seniority and levels of understanding
- Solid financial literacy and knowledge of best practice improvements to processes, standards, and systems
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and consistency
- A sound understanding of the various frameworks, standards and regulations that govern business’ environmental and Sustainability Reporting requirements, and an ability to interpret these to produce relevant data insights and reports
What you’ll bring
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business, Engineering, Data Science/Analytics or similar
- Experience in developing detailed analytics and insights from complex data sets
- 2 – 5 years experience in a data analyst/quality assurance/reporting/auditing position within the facilities management, construction, utilities or resources industry
- Various reporting and data visualisation tools exposure advantageous, experience with Power BI desirable
- Experience with corporate Sustainability Reporting and external sustainability assurance advantageous
