The Sustainable Urban Communities Coordinator will:
- Work collaboratively with internal staff and external stakeholders to ensure that urban nature resources management (NRM) issues and priorities are considered in adaptation and community capacity building planning processes.
- Coordinate urban greening and resilient communities projects that will increase the capacity of communities and stakeholder to sustainably manage urban natural resources in the Green Adelaide Region
- Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, in particular local government and environmental NGOs and diverse communities to effectively coordinate projects and outcomes.What can we offer you!

1 Year, Full Time ContractDesirable Qualifications:
An appropriate tertiary qualification in natural resource management, environmental science, community development or equivalent is high desirable.Special Conditions:
- May be required to participate in fire management and associated duties
- A current class “C” driver’s licence and willingness and ability to safely operate a 4wd is essential.
- May require some intra/interstate travel
- Will be required to work out of hours
