We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager specialized in Power Distribution Solutions to enhance our sales strategy. This role focuses on expanding our portfolio across switchboards, metering panels, and all forms of custom manufacturing, targeting large accounts and direct installers.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive growth in our power distribution and metering sectors, focusing on direct-to-contractor sales.
- Develop opportunities, understand client challenges, and tailor solutions to meet their goals.
- Engage in cross-selling and upselling within our diverse product lines.
- Design and present technical solutions and pricing models that surpass competitor offerings.
- Provide expert advice and engineering support, optimizing client power systems.
- Collaborate with OEM partners to create custom solutions.
- Lead product demonstrations, develop sales strategies, and manage complex sales projects.
- An understanding of electrical distribution and manufacturing.
- Proven ability to negotiate and close deals, with strong existing relationships in key industries such as construction, mining, and oil & gas.
- Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards related to our business.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
- High energy, determination, and a technical sales aptitude.
- Proficiency in using computer systems for reporting, including Excel and other Office suite tools.
