About the Role
The Systems Administrator is responsible for assisting with maintaining and administering Regional Australia Bank's IT systems to support applications and services, ensuring infrastructure stability, performance, and security. The incumbent will support the day-to-day management of IT systems, provide specialised support to escalated issues, collaborate with the broader technology teams, actively participate as a key resource in organisational projects, work closely with 3rd party vendors and continually innovate to improve organisational productivity, capability, and service levels.
This position will ideally suit a candidate with a solid experience in a system administration role supporting Windows AD, Azure cloud platforms and applications, administering MS Windows domains, *nix servers and MS SQL database servers and networks including SDWAN. We are also looking for experience in the following:
- Cloud platform Provisioning (deploying, supporting, and monitoring new and existing services, platforms, and application stacks).
- Configuration management experience (Ansible, Rudder, Intune)
- Infrastructure as code software (Terraform, Bicep templates)
- Design & implementation in Azure DevOps
The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and a team player with problem solving and troubleshooting skills, and ability to thrive on a challenge.
