System Administrator

Our Government is seeking an experience Network Engineer to join their team for a long term opportunity within a secure working environment. There will be 4 different roles being offered.

SFIA Skils required for each role are as follows;

1. ITOP 4, CFMG 5, SYSP 5, SINT 3, PBMG 5, PROG 4
2. HSIN 3, ITOP 3, PROG 2, ASUP 3
3. ITOP 4, CFMG 4, SYSP 4, SINT 3, RELM 4, PBMG 4, PROG 3 
4. SYSP 3, ASUP 3 , SINT 2, ITOP 2

Major Responsibilities

1. Lead the installation, configuration and sustainment of ICT infrastructure (physical and cloud managed) – this includes servers and/or network devices
2. Setup and manage servers, including GitLab, Jenkins, Symbol Server, static code analysis, continuous integration and testing hosts. Management of VMware ESX infrastructure.
3. Install and configure ICT infrastructure (physical and cloud managed) – this includes servers and/or network devices
4. Install, configure and maintain Linux based systems under broad direction.

Key Experience required

1. Demonstrated experience Automation tools such as Ansible/Puppet, Packer, Kickstart
2. Demonstrated experience in RedHat Linux Enterprise 5/6/7/8.
3. Automation tools such as Ansible/Puppet, Packer, Kickstart
4. Hadoop
