We are seeking to employ an onsite part-time Systems Administrator to join our head office team in Caringbah. Reporting to the IT Manager, the part-time Systems Administrator, will be responsible for one or more operating systems as well as providing 2nd level support to our Australian and New Zealand employees.
The duties include but do not limit:
- Responsible for supporting the functionality and efficiency of one or more operating systems.
- Deliver 2nd level remote hardware and software/OS support services to staff in Australia and NZ to resolve product use, problems and questions relating to enterprise systems, networks, and application software, as well as desktop applications.
- Responsible for user administration & monitoring of servers.
- Perform daily checks on servers and analyze logs.
- Conduct incident investigation. Conduct advanced troubleshooting of incidents and provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
- Documented BAU Practices Incident management (BAU Incidents Break/Fix) and change management (BAU Changes - Patching/Firmware changes).
- Quarterly Patching activities and half-yearly firmware upgrades.
- Coordinate critical customer issues as well as new product and/or system implementations.
- Relay alerts and situation status information to both client and Vendors.
- May prepare technical documentation and ensure that technical and customer documentation is clear, accurate and complete.
- Provide training to End Users for Business applications.
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate experience in:
- Windows Servers 2019/2022 (mandatory)
- Pronto ERP System, Cognos Reporting, Trueforms Printing.
- Hyper-V (mandatory)
- Active Directory (mandatory)
- Palo Device support
- Microsoft Office 365 Suite of applications, Teams, SharePoint, One Drive, training Users on the Applications and systems
- Group Policy (config management including application deployment).
- DNS, DHCP.
- Service Requests, Incident and Change Management Freshworks/(SNOW) or any other ticketing systems.
- Previous experience in a BAU server support role is preferred.
