Your new role!

Reporting to the Service Desk Manager, this is a key role based in Sydney where you will be assisting the IT infrastructure team to manage both internal and cloud infrastructures and ensure that systems are stable. This role also supports internal employees with infrastructure requirements. Your areas of key responsibilities are:

• Applications
  • Cloud application management
  • Identity and access management 
  • Monitoring performance, availability, and security
  • Single Sign On
  • Onboarding and offboarding of Application
• Infrastructure
  • Networking and firewalls
  • Laptop provisioning/management/maintenance
  • IT Assets Procurement and Management
  • Capacity planning
• Security
  • Backup and testing
  • Disaster recovery / Business continuity
  • Systems checks and compliance.
  • Account management and review.
  • Antivirus / WAF / Intrusion detection
  • Apply the security Patches and update.
• People
  • Onboarding and offboarding
  • Helpdesk/Support

Are you the one?

You’ll be a great fit if you have:

• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or Computer Science.
• 2 plus years’ experience in Helpdesk or Service Desk environment.
• Demonstrated experience in supporting users with applications and network connectivity in timely and effective manner.
• Practical knowledge of Windows 10 & 11, MacOS and Linux based operating systems and scripting.
• Experience in using support tools and CRM – Jira, Confluence, Salesforce.
• Network skills, firewalls (FortiGate), VPN, wireless.
• Experience in managing multiple tasks and projects while working independently.
• Experience with bulk deployment of application for Windows and MacOS devices.
• Experience in installation, configuration and upgrading of hardware and software.
• Skills with Email (Exchange Online), Microsoft applications, and desktop environments.
• Knowledge of Password Management Tools.
• Configuration and troubleshooting experience of audio-visual devices.
• Excellent communication skills
• Great problem-solving skills and ability to train and support users with little technical know-how.
• The ability to work in a diverse team within an Agile environment.
• The ability to work 3 days in office/onsite.
