Form of work Our Large Federal Government client has a requirement for a System Administrator will lead or assist system administrator activities supporting the Linux and core services in the High Performance Computing environment, provision and configure servers using life cycle system tool. The Linux System Administrator will be required to write support and security documentation, and work cohesively and communicate effectively with High Performance Computing Infrastructure project, technical and engineering staff, and stakeholder groups.
Skills and Knowledge:
Contract terms: Contract term of 12 months, not exceeding 30 June 2025 will be considered.
SFIA level required: The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 5.
Security Requirements: Current Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance is strongly preferred, however candidates who have held a TSPV in the previous 12-month period (which has since been downgraded) may be considered.

- Demonstrated experience with Foreman or equivalent administration systems.
- Demonstrated system administration experience with Linux Operating Systems for example: Red Hat, Rocky, Suse,
- Demonstrated experience with a continuous integration tools for example: GitLab or Jenkins.
- Install and configure Linux systems.
- Perform and coordinate system monitoring, analysis, troubleshooting and the generation of Problem/Incident tickets.
- Manage the provision of proactive and reactive support including configuration updates.
