About the OPPORTUNITY
As the Systems Analyst you will be part of a team responsible for the Product Data Management (PDM) system which is the core of the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution for BAE Systems Maritime Australia
You will be engaged in developing and configuring the PLM tools to meet business requirements, providing user support and creating application user guides and process instructions.
More specifically, you will
- Be responsible for providing the business with timely support of the PLM systems.
- Assist with stakeholder management, user support, analysis, development, testing and production delivery coordination
- Take ownership for identifying and resolving system malfunctions.
- Contribute to upgrades/updates to system(s) including developmental and corrective maintenance.
- Develop and contribute to the definition of general specifications and support documentation.
- Contribute to the technology roadmap and assist in adapting and configuring application software packages
- Take responsibility for design and documentation of test cases for enhancements & integration, perform unit tests
- Contribute to planning and monitoring project and integration activities
About YOU
- Prior experience supporting PDM & CAD systems; preferably Windchill and FORAN on large Engineering projects.
- At least Five years' experience in programming using Java 8 and 11 - Preferably Certified.
- Experience with REST API's.
- Experience with Database technologies preferably Oracle and proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
- Knowledge of keystore, server certificates, Apache, Tomcat beneficial.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Expected to adopt a ‘Smart Working' approach by being flexible in their start and finish times to maintain a work life balance
- Experience in application release management.
- Knowledge on the Basics of IT security principles.
