About the Opportunity

To help us achieve this we are seeking 2 (two) experienced Systems Electricianto join our team. The successful candidate will be working predominant on Councils Water & Wastewater services plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planned maintenance, repairs & upgrading of Council owned or operated Electrical equipment.
- Valid Qualified Supervisor Certificate - Electrical, issued by Fair Trading NSW.
- Valid Class C Drivers Licence.
- Demonstrated experienced in fault-finding, scheduled/unscheduled maintenance support and installation on complex electrical/electronic equipment and instrumentation for modern automated process infrastructure
- Developed computer skills using industry related software applications.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a team, contributing positively to team operations and working relationships.
- Willingness to participate in Councils after-hours on-call roster.
- Developed high level organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
On a typical day this role will:
- Fault finding and diagnosis of failures within electrical services equipment
- Interrogation of data to determine electrical outcomes
- Planning and implementing maintenance and construction tasks
- Supervising PMHC electrical apprentices & service provider contractors
- Replacing, installing and upgrading electrical equipment to a new standard
- Completing Industry regulatory, compliance and statutory obligations
- Develop and review safe work method statements and risk assessments, and implement safety strategies to promote a secure working environment for all team members
Remuneration and Benefits
Employment type: Permanent, full-time role (38 hours per week with 9-day fortnight)
Salary (exclusive of super): Starting salary of $1,253.50 per week with the opportunity for competency-based progression.
Allowances: Adverse Working Level 1, Sewer Choke Allowance, Tool Allowance & On Call Allowance
Vehicle: This role also qualifies for a Tool of Trade Vehicle
