About the role
As a high level Systems Engineer you will perform and achieve design,
integration and testing within an integrated workforce. This requires an in-depth knowledge of and compliance with legislative frameworks within Defence.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain engineering related artefacts (Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP), Technical Certification Plan (TCP)) for CAF16 Systems.
- Support the engineering and configuration management activities.
- Assist and provide guidance to the Engineering Manager and System
Managers for engineering and configuration management. - Develop/ review capability engineering requirements and procedural
documentation. - Perform quality control on engineering documentation.
- Demonstrated experience and familiarity with CASG project engineering activities and planning.
- Experience with Systems Engineering, preferably within CASG/ Defence environment (SEMP, Technical Certification Plans, Requirements Management).
- Demonstrated experience and familiarity with software system safety, security and managing technical risk.
- Experience in Verification & Validation (developing, conducting, providing recommendations/outcomes).
- Knowledge/experience of Defence C2 systems/ applications.
