System Engineer

• Are you an experienced System Engineer who is comfortable working at the SFIA 4-5 level?
• Do you have an active Top Secret Positive Vetting Clearance? or has this clearance expired in the past 12 months?

We at compas have the perfect role for you!Our Government is seeking an experience System Engineer to join their team for a long term opportunity within a secure working environment. There are 3 different possitions being offeredSFIA Skils required for these role are as follows; * DESN 4, PROG 4, ASUP 4

• DESN 5, BUAN 5, REQM 4, SEAC 5
• DESN 4, BUAN 4, REQM 3, SINT 4

Major Responsibilities * Implement network design on Cisco and Juniper platforms.

• Develop systems engineering documentation, system designs, and systems maintenance plans and configuration management plans. Contribute to project plans ticketing systems and project timelines.
• Undertake business analysis activities with a diverse customer set to identify business needs, including conducting surveys, interviews and structured workshops.

Key Experience required * Demonstrated experience creating and updating technical documentation and operating procedures.

• Demonstrated experience working with virtualisation technologies.
• Experience undertaking prototyping work with an understanding of database design, ActiveMQ or similar products, and programming skills.
