About the role
We are currently offering an excellent permanent, full-time position for a Systems Support Analyst to join our Finance Systems team. As a Systems Support Analyst, your main responsibility will be to ensure the availability, administration, support, and ongoing enhancement of Estia's Finance Systems. The systems you will be working with primarily include the Finance systems (ERP / Procurement / Petty cash and expense management) and IT service management platform (Service Desk plus). You will report to the Finance Systems manager. This role is suitable for recent graduates with the necessary technical skills.
Key responsibilities:
- Support and maintain applications within portfolio, through prompt investigation of incidents and root cause analysis.
- Provide ongoing support to business stakeholders, addressing their queries, issues, and feedback related to the application.
- Liaise with vendor to understand system upgrades & patches, determine internal impacts with Business and IT, and manage the implementation of changes through the Change Management process.
- Manage enhancement requests, and solution customization & configuration.
- Adhere to IT service management processes, including incident, problem, and change management process.
- Proactively manage risk and plan for contingency. Ensure all identified security issues are addressed through fixes or mitigating controls.
- Work with stakeholders across Estia Health (Finance and Operations ) to understand gaps & opportunities for improvements – eg. process streamlining, automation of manual processes, integration across systems, etc.
Qualifications & Other Skills
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Knowledge of financial processes and accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Intermediate knowledge of SQL and database concepts for data analysis and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Proactive attitude towards continuous learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues promptly, conducting root cause analysis when necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and other relevant departments.
Desirable:
- Familiarity with Epicor or any other Finance Systems
- Understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Familiarity with automation concepts.
- Proficiency with any scripting or programming language
- Experience in the Aged Care industry would be viewed favourably but is not mandatory.
