UNSW College is a wholly owned subsidiary of The University of New South Wales (UNSW). We’re looking for an enthusiastic Systems Support Analyst to join our dynamic UNSW College Team.
We are seeking a highly communicative individual with excellent organisational skills and the ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. You will have experience in administration and IT with a good knowledge of Cloud based solutions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the support, administration and maintenance of UNSW College Student Systems such as Student Management System, Timetabling and Class Allocation Software and Learning Management Systems. You will be accountable for the development and implementation of system’s procedures and guidelines.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Front-line primary technical support to end users relating to Student Systems such as Student Management System, Timetabling and Class Allocation Software and Learning Management Systems and its plugins, external tools, LTI’s.
• Preparing technical and user documentation for systems and interdependent applications working in collaboration with subject matter experts and vendors.
• Managing and monitoring System’s setup and administration including access levels, and user permissions.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving with focus on identifying and resolving root causes and translating the root cause solutions into modified processes, functional specifications and technical specifications.
The successful applicant will have (but not limited to):
• Appropriate qualifications and/or equivalent experience in administration and information technology, preferably in an educational environment
• Proven ability to maintain Systems and Applications and their procedural documentation and to effectively communicate requirements to staff and vendors
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Knowledge of Cloud based solutions and their administration such as SaaS, Azure Cloud, Atlassian suite.
• Demonstrated experience in the development and application of innovative solutions to practical Systems management problems.
