About the role 

We have a 4-month parental leave term contract opportunity for someone to step into our Talent Acquisition team, with a mid-July start. This role will be working between our Church St, Parramatta and our Rydalmere Operations Centre locations, with 2 days at each per week (this is flexible and can be negotiated with the successful candidate).

You'll step into a dynamic role where you'll provide vital support to our Recruitment Advisors, playing an integral role in managing various aspects of the recruitment process. You’ll be supported by a highly engaged & personable team, and gain exposure to exciting projects like employer brand, events/ expos, proactive sourcing, training & development of hiring managers and other Talent Acquisition initiatives.

On a daily basis, this role will see you:

  • Manage administrative tasks for Recruitment Advisors, including posting adverts, shortlisting, booking interviews, and conducting reference checks.
  • Act as the first point of contact for candidate enquiries, providing timely and helpful assistance throughout the recruitment process.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and ensure smooth operation of recruitment systems and tools.
  • Oversee onboarding and pre-employment checks, providing guidance and support to candidates through each stage.
  • Assist with projects involving work experience students, trainees, and apprentices, fostering talent development and growth.
  • Contribute to exciting projects such as expos, employer brand initiatives, and other Talent Acquisition endeavours.
  • Work collaboratively in a highly supportive team environment, where teamwork and camaraderie are paramount.
     

About You 

You're a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, eager to expand your horizons and delve into the world of recruitment. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and excel at multitasking. While prior experience in recruitment administration is essential, this role presents a golden opportunity for you to elevate your career and take on more diverse responsibilities within the Talent Acquisition space. You'll get the opportunity to partner with hiring managers and develop your recruitment partnering skills.   • Possess a Certificate IV in HR, Business, or relevant administrative discipline, or equivalent experience in a similar role.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in recruitment administration or a related field.
  • Previous experience using HRIS/Application Tracking Systems is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting phone screens and reference checks.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive and solution-focused mindset, with the ability to identify and address challenges efficiently.

We are offering an attractive remuneration from $80,284 to $88,414 plus 11.5% superannuation.
