The Star Brisbane, positioned at the heart of the new Queen's Wharf Brisbane precinct, will be Australia's newest entertainment and leisure destination. Commencing a staged opening in 2024, The Star Brisbane will bring a range of unique entertainment options, world class hotels, dining, bars, luxury retail, gaming and a state-of-the-art Event Centre, transforming how people will play, shop and socialise in the river city.
The Talent Acquisition Partner, reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, offers an extraordinary opportunity for an experienced high-volume recruiter to support the growth of The Star Brisbane team while providing a positive and memorable candidate experience. This is a fantastic opening where you can leverage and develop your skills and knowledge to deliver a thrilling new era for Hospitality in Brisbane!
Please note this a fixed term fulltime role until September 2024.
A few of your responsibilities
- Manage the full 360 recruitment process, from approved vacancies through to selection and onboarding
- Providing strategic advice to Hiring Managers on appropriate sourcing and candidate attraction strategies
- Build and maintain strong internal relationships with client groups and the People and Performance team to deliver and retain talent into the business
- Drive and execute The Star Brisbane sourcing strategy, to proactively locate and engage talent with a particular focus on creating ongoing pipeline for critical roles
- Partner with Employer Brand to ensure a superior onboarding experience, delivering on our employee value proposition
What we will be looking for
- Experience in a recruitment role required working with operational, corporate and/or specialist client groups (minimum 4 years) Hospitality or Culinary experience highly regarded
- Proven ability to drive and execute a Talent Acquisition Strategy that enhances business performance
- Previous experience using LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms for recruitment purposes
- Experience maintaining in-house Applicant Tracking Systems (PageUp is advantageous)

Your years of experience in the recruitment space ensure that you have the organisational skills and attention to detail to set yourself up for success in our fast-paced dynamic environment. You are comfortable in 1:1 interviews as well as presenting to large groups at assessment centres and are ready for the excitement and challenges that will come with staffing our newest entertainment offering.
