- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop strategic recruitment plans;
- Source, attract, and engage top talent for a variety of positions critical to our defence projects;
- Conduct thorough candidate assessments to ensure alignment with our organisation's values and requirements;
- Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing guidance and support throughout the recruitment process;
- Utilize innovative recruitment techniques and tools to identify and connect with candidates with specialized skills and experience in defence-related fields;
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to enhance our recruitment capabilities;
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging talent pipelines within the defence sector;
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline recruitment processes and enhance the candidate experience;
- Uphold our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion by fostering a culture of belonging and accessibility in all recruitment efforts; and
- Participation at industry events and careers fairs.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field;
- Proven experience in Talent Acquisition, preferably within the Defence;
- Strong knowledge of defence sector requirements, regulations, and security clearance processes;
- Expertise in using online platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, SEEK etc.) for strategic sourcing and talent pooling initiatives;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills;
- Organised with strong attention to detail;
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism;
- Knowledge and user experience of contemporary e-recruitment/ATS systems including compiling weekly reports on recruitment activities; and
- Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (must hold Australian Citizenship).
