Talent Agent Assistant

Our client, Cameron’s Management is a highly regarded talent agency representing actors, writers, directors, designers, cinematographers, editors, presenters, composers and book authors across film, television, live performance, and publishing. They are now looking for an assistant to join the business to support one of their senior Agents.

To be considered for this role you’ll need to be well-organised with advanced computer skills and have a strong work ethic. As you’ll regularly be in contact with their clients, you’ll also need to be professional, reliable and have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.

Ideally you will have some experience working in the screen sector (film/TV) perhaps in an admin support role or assisting a production and have completed studies such as a BA Arts degree or similar.

Your role will include responsibilities such as;

• General office admin including answering client calls & updating clients CVs,  bios, the website, photographic information, maintaining filing systems and contract details.
• Scheduling meetings & projects for the clients and managing calendars
• Researching work opportunities & answering general queries from clients re availability requests from producers.
• Co-ordinating and booking travel/accommodation.
• Writing and updating website items.
• Assisting with finance / invoicing and tracking royalty payments.
• Liaising with publicists for client exposure for openings, awards, and festivals.
• Reading & proofing documents and clients’ materials.

Over time you will be trained to also:

• Negotiate agreements and simple licences.
• Pitch and place client work in the market with producers.
• Establish and maintain ongoing relationships between clients and production companies.
• Provide script coverage.

Experience required:

• A min of 1-2 years working within the entertainment / screen industry (film or TV, or live theatre)
• Excellent computer skills.
• Good interpersonal skills with a confident, friendly yet professional manner.
• Ability to focus on tasks, with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Some basic experience with invoicing or finance.
• Minimum Bachelor of Arts degree or equivalent in a pertinent field.
