Form of workElliott Gray are teaming up with another one of the top accounting firms here in Canberra to find them their next superstar. That new superstar (you) will be filling the role of Tax Accountant.
This is a role that will include preparing end-of-year accounts and tax returns for individuals and entities. That means we need you to not only be a numbers wiz, but you need to know how to help and connect with your clients. We want someone who loves to chat with others and genuinely wants to help navigate the intricate world of ongoing tax planning and financial advice
You'll also play a key role in setting up and managing superannuation funds, advising on cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasts. And let's not forget about supporting start-ups with your invaluable insights on legal requirements, bookkeeping, cash flow management, asset protection, and insurance advice.
Proficiency in using Xero or similar accounting software is essential, while knowledge of self managed super funds, property investment strategies, and taxation compliance services will give you a competitive edge. Our client also utilises Class Super, so experience with this software would make you stand out in the crowd.
