The Opportunity
Due to strong growth in the business, our firm is seeking an Senior Accountant to join the team.
The role includes:
- Working together with the partners and other team members in providing tax advice to clients, including attendance to client meetings where required;
- Client relationship management, including regularly liaising with clients to provide in-depth accounting and taxation advice;
- Preparation of Financial Statements, Tax Returns for self-managed superfunds, companies, trusts and partnerships;
- Preparation of BAS for clients
- Preparation of Fringe Benefits Tax Return
- Preparation of interim management accounts for some clients;
- Review of financial accounts prepared by junior staff as well as mentoring.
Candidate
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- 3 - 5 years’ accounting experience
- Degree qualified
- CA/CPA (or willing to obtain)
- Business Services and Tax knowledge
- Experience in preparation of SMSF
- Experience with MYOB and Xero cloud-based packages
- Strong work ethic
