Job description
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the preparation of end of year financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Support financial projects and initiatives aimed at process improvement and operational efficiency
• Assist with the monthly management and board reporting including journals, adjustments, reconciliations
• Provide financial accounting analysis to ensure the accurate recording of costs and provision of useful information for strategic decision-making
• Assist with the preparation of year-end journals, adjustments, and reconciliations
• Involvement with external auditors to ensure appropriate accounting treatment is applied to financials and resolve queries
• Assist with bookkeeping in accounting software like Xero, Myob, QBO, Saasu and also tax compliance for Australia.
• Involvement with project and fixed asset reporting and forecasts, including liaising with other Groups to ensure appropriate information is received
• Assist with identifying and implementing automation / process improvements to continue to modernise the finance function
