The Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tax Accountant for an immediate start for initially 6 weeks with a view to be extended. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing tax services to a diverse client base. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to expand their expertise in tax accounting within a dynamic and supportive environment. The core duties will include:
- Prepare and review corporate tax returns
- Enter information into the Xero Platform
- Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Assist clients with tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to address tax-related inquiries
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to provide accurate advice and guidance
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives
About You
- Experience with the Xero platform
- Degree qualification with experience in a public practice environment
- CPA or CA qualified or working towards qualification
- Proven ability to delegate, manage and review outsourced work
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
- Ideally experienced in managing a portfolio of clients
