For this role, we are looking for an Accountant or Senior Accountant with 4+ years’ tax experience. The position will be based in our Sunbury office with some time to be spent in our Essendon office too.

Salary Range for this role will be between $80,000 to $120,000 inclusive of superannuation depending on experience.
This role’s responsibilities include:
- Face to face meetings with clients
- Completing tax returns for Individuals, Companies and Trusts
- Completing financial statements including Income Statements and Balance Sheets
- Being the first point of contact for client queries
- Actively attracting new clients to the firm
- Providing solutions to clients to continually improve their business processes
To be awesome in this role you will need:
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting or relevant subjects with relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education
- CPA (or Equivalent) professional qualification achieved or working towards
- A minimum 4+ years’ experience in Accounting
- A comprehensive level of tax knowledge, for example but not limited to; GST, Div 7A, PSI and non commercial loss provisions, Trust law, Company tax, Capital Gains Tax (including SBE CGT provisions) and Family tax benefits and be able to apply this knowledge to client issues across various entities
- A strong working knowledge of Xero & Xero Practice Manager
- Great organisational skills and an eye for attention to detail
- A Positive Attitude
- Outstanding communication skills
- A willingness to put up your hand up to learn new things
- The ability to prioritise and manage your time

A full unrestricted work permit/visa for Australia is required
Current Victorian driver’s license and ability to attend alternate workplaces on an adhoc basis
