Our solutions include custody, clearing, asset servicing, fund administration, ETF services, middle office, agency securities lending, collateral management, transfer agency, and fiduciary services..We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Tax & Financial Reporting - Accountant based in Sydney (or) Melbourne. You will support a small team responsible for the successful delivery of tax, financial statements and other regulatory reporting to our superannuation fund and managed investment trust clients.You will be responsible for liaising with clients and their service providers and be competent to discuss technical Tax and accounting topics relating to the deliverables. You will also be responsible for identifying, analyzing, monitoring and communicating risks and controls within the team. Your challenge will be to drive continuous process improvement and collaborate with internal stakeholders on technology developments to meet business and client expectationsIn this role, you’re expected to:Preparation of business activity statements, distribution calculations and tax returnsPreparation of financial statements, APRA and ABS regulatory reportingReconciliation of accounting to taxable incomeEstablish procedures and controlsContribute to process improvementEnsure the business unit maintains the ethical standards contained in the Code of ConductAdhere to firm policies and procedures, regulatory and legislative requirementsAs a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:Tax and regulatory reporting experience for superannuation funds or managed investment trustsFinancial services industry knowledge and experienceGlobal financial markets industry knowledgeAbility to work in a team environmentAnalytical skills to review and challenge resultsAbility to work under pressure to meet varying deadlines and work volumesCA/CPA or other relevant qualificationWorking at Citi is far more than just a job.
