AddressEssentially, we are looking for a CA/CPA with a strong technical bent.
Specifically, an interest in complex transactions such as business sale, merger, demerger, acquisition, disputes, re-structure, tax consolidations, ATO audits and reviews, and other strategic business advice.
The role would suit someone with the following attributes:
- Strong technical tax knowledge and an interest in complex tax assignments.
- Demonstrated ability to research and interpret legislation.
- An aptitude for interpreting legal documentation such as shareholders agreements and business contracts including the practical application of such documents.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to collaboratively work with multiple stakeholders.
- A strong interest in negotiation, strategy and human behaviour.
- Interest and commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
The following experience and attributes would be desirable:
- Experience providing complex tax consulting advice, tax consolidations, ATO Early Engagement, and tax compliance.
- Experience in collaborating on large or complex business transactions with multiple stakeholders.
