Job description

As part of our Brisbane-based Operations Excellence team, you will be responsible for analysing data and developing reports in order to achieve our objective of service excellence. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance data reporting structures and processes in order to provide management with clear concise information to enable decision making
  • Develop and enhance, when appropriate, reporting mechanisms in order to generate regular and ad-hoc KPI reports
  • Ensure accuracy or reported information and timely distribution
  • Generate ad-hoc reports as directed by management
  • Contribute to station compliance by performing regular “on the floor audits” of FedEx’s policy and procedures
  • Create and maintain an information database to store internal and external reports and ensure data is backed up at all times
  • Create and maintain a reporting matrix
  • Ensure all confidential data is stored securely
  • Analyse and interpret service data in order to monitor operational performance and efficiency as well as provide insight into service performance trends
  • Analyse service KPI’s in line with company models and systems
  • Generate regular KPI and quality audit analysis reports for distribution to management
  • Monitor trends in service performance and highlight potential opportunities for improvement to management
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis as requested by management
  • Advise and consult appropriate management through the proposal of actions in order to increase the efficiency and quality of operations
  • Proactively propose solutions based on data analyses results with the aim of increasing quantitative and qualitative KPI results
  • Work in co-operation with management to advise about the most efficient and effective mix of skill sets, resources usage, & staff planning as well as other areas of efficiency gains
  • Provide analyses reports on business trends and impact of possible changes in the operation
  • Participate in projects through the provision of high-quality data and information to assist project decision-making
  • Administer various operational project implementation plans
  • Contribute to a climate of continuous improvement of processes procedures and systems
  • Ensure a high-level of service is provided to internal and external customers

Experience

  • Significant experience in an Operations environment
  • Previous experience working in an Analyst capacity
  • Proven ability to accurately & effectively report on data and meet production timelines
  • Ability to communicate with impact and build first class relationships
  • MS Office literate including advanced Excel and Access skills
