The practice is centrally located in Underwood and the firm can offer a very friendly and stable work environment.This growing firm requires an astute professional, hardworking and all rounder team member to assist and advise clients with their monthly, quarterly and yearly accounts, BAS returns, Tax Advice etc.
The Role
Working under the Partner you will be involved in the preparation of financial statements and tax returns for all entity types. Your clients will come from a broad array of industries. You will have a high degree of client contact directly.
The role's Key Skills Criteria include:
•3+ years minimum experience in a Business Services / Tax role
•Updated understanding of Australian Taxation laws
•Experience with partnerships, companies, trusts & superannuation funds is ideal
•Strong communication skills
•Analytical mind with strong attention to detail
•Deadline and target driven approach to work
The Individual
Our firm requires the services of a Tax / Business Services Accountant. Ideally you will have a minimum of 3 years public practice experience and should be studying towards or completed your CPA program. You must possess the competence and confidence to deal with clients, manage outsourced staff and work independently. This position reports to the Partner and a competitive salary and will be negotiable at the final interview according to experience .
