 The RoleResponsible for leading a team of high performing accountants and delivering a quality service experience to both internal and external stakeholders. You will be focused on managing workflow and productivity as well as play a critical role in driving consistency and continuous improvement across the team.

• Mentor, develop and coach a team of accountants to achieve a culture of high performance.
• Reviewing and completing complex tax and accounting work.
• Ensuring your team are delivering quality, timely work and achieving targets.
• Working closely with clients, specialist accountants and key stakeholders across the business, focusing on effective communication and exceeding service expectations.
• Developing an environment of collaboration and knowledge-sharing within your team.
• Ensuring information and data are managed effectively across all systems.  

The Person  

• Qualifications and solid experience preparing high level, complex financial accounts, income tax returns and activity statements.
• Experience in leading a team in a Tax and Accounting practice environment, with a focus on workflow management and productivity.
• A leadership style that focuses on collaboration and teamwork to get the best outcomes for clients, uphold high values and culture.
• A compliance mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
