This role involves managing all aspects of tax compliance and advisory services, ensuring adherence to current tax legislation, and providing strategic support to the Head of Tax. Your Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and international tax laws
- Assist the Head of Tax in developing and implementing tax strategies, providing comprehensive support on various tax-related projects and initiatives
- Provide expert tax advisory services to internal stakeholders, including risk assessments, planning, and optimisation strategies
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation and regulations, ensuring the company's tax practices are compliant
- Analyse and interpret complex tax legislation, providing clear and actionable insights
- Coordinate and support tax audits and investigations, ensuring timely and effective resolution of any issues
- Review tax reports of junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development
About You
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CA/CPA Qualified
- 5+ years of experience in a tax role preferred Big 4 background
- Strong technical knowledge of tax laws and regulations, with the ability to interpret and apply complex legislation effectively
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex tax concepts in a clear and concise manner
