Your role will involve fostering creativity, critical thinking, and expression through various art contexts while creating an inclusive learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of our students.For this role, the applicant will be required to teach from years 5 to 12 although you may also be required to teach in Years 1 to 6. You should also have an understanding of how to differentiate your teaching to meet the needs of a diverse range of students in your classes and utilise your knowledge and teaching experience to encourage and support our students to achieve outstanding results.Exmouth DHS is dedicated to ensuring a seamless educational experience for students from Kindergarten to Year 12. They will collaborate with colleagues to integrate arts education across other subject areas, organize extracurricular arts activities and events, and assess student progress to provide constructive feedback for their growth and development.Our schoolExmouth DHS is a proudly Independent Public School with approximately 524 students from Kindergarten to Year 12. Successful applicants would join a team of 40 teaching staff and 25 support staff.Exmouth is a coastal community of situated in the remote Northwest of Western Australia.Located about 1250km north of Perth, 850km north of the large regional city of Geraldton and 550km southwest of the Pilbara mining operations in Karratha, we are surrounded by Cape Range National Park and are the gateway to the unique Ningaloo Reef, recently listed as a World Heritage site. There is a permanent population of approximately 3,500 people which swells to thousands more during peak tourist periods.
