Working in collaboration with other staff, they will ideally have a strong understanding and working knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum – including how to plan, deliver and assess engaging and relevant units of work relating to Mathematics. They will be able to apply this whilst teaching students of varying ability levels across Years 7 to 12 in a highly engaging manner.The successful applicant will ideally have the knowledge and skills necessary to apply a range of effective teaching strategies, while fostering a positive classroom learning environment. They will ideally be able to provide engaging, relevant, and meaningful learning experiences. The learning environment they create will ideally be differentiated, challenging, caring and creative, while catering for a range of needs that ensures all students are progressing and achieving. The ability to utilise evidence-based teaching practices whilst employing a range of assessment and reporting methods will be highly regarded.About the schoolCape Naturaliste College (CNC) was established in 2008 after extensive consultation with our community.
